LEASING AGENT

San Francisco, CA - Fully Remote 

Overview: 

SF City Rents is a residential leasing company that serves landlords by filling vacancies with the best tenants. We provide maximum market exposure to attract qualified tenants through innovative use of technology, and we market our listings to our network of realtors and relocation agents. 

The nature of the SF City Rents' business requires response to both communications and the execution of tasks that will frequently require handling on weekdays in addition to weekend days. 

Job Type & Compensation: 

This is a part-time position, with most showings taking place on weekday evenings and weekend days. The Leasing Agent will need to be available for showings at least two (2) Saturdays per month (~9am-4pm) and at least two (2) weekday evenings per week (~4pm-8pm) and provide us with their availability at least one week in advance. 

Job Description:  

The Leasing Agent shall show listings and perform additional tasks such as: 

• Instruct applicants on how to apply for rental properties 
• Answer questions about the properties (all property details will be provided to you) 
• Prepare offers to present to landlords 
• Listen to tenant’s needs and cross-sell them to other listings that may be a better fit 
• Summarize feedback from showings on a daily basis that we can report to the property owner 
• Meet tenants for key hand off at move in if necessary 
• Meet tenants at rented properties for an additional showing if requested, for taking measurements, etc. 
• Pay your own expenses and E&O insurance (approx. $450/year) 

Requirements: 

• Must be licensed to practice real estate in CA 
• If you have a Salesperson’s license, it must be hung with our brokerage and no other 
• If you have a Broker’s license, it can be hung with our brokerage as well as others 
• Professional demeanor and appearance 
• Punctuality is a MUST 
• Stellar communication skills 
• Take a 2-hour Fair Housing class at San Francisco Apartment Association
